We use no advertising cookies and no cross-site trackers. We do use Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies. Here is exactly what is stored in your browser, and why.

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful and where visitors come from. It sets first-party cookies — typically _ga and _ga_<id> — which distinguish one visitor from another. They expire after up to two years and are readable only by this domain.
We have enabled IP anonymisation, so your full IP address is not stored by Google. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, remarketing or audience sharing.
What we store in your browser
We use sessionStorage and localStorage — not cookies — for a small number of things. Neither is sent to other websites, and both are cleared when you clear your browsing data.

The one actual cookie
gts_admin_token is set only when a member of our team signs in to the private admin area. It is strictly necessary for authentication, is HTTP-only so scripts cannot read it, and is never set for ordinary visitors.
Third parties
We do not embed advertising networks, social media pixels, or remarketing tags. Google Fonts serves our typefaces and Unsplash serves some background images; these deliver files only and set no cookies on our behalf. Google Analytics is the only measurement product on this site, and it is described above.
Turning it off
Enabling Do Not Track in your browser stops all analytics on this site, including Google Analytics — no session ID is created and nothing is recorded. Clearing your site data removes everything listed above. Browser extensions that block trackers also work.
